• Video playback positions: The URL, title, and timestamp of videos you choose to save
• User preferences: Your settings such as theme preference, auto-save interval, and notification preferences
• Categories and profiles: Custom categories and profiles you create to organize your saves
• Watch later list: Videos you add to your "watch later" list
• Viewing statistics: Aggregated watch time data per website (stored locally only)

3. How We Use Your Information

All data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension:

• Saving and restoring your video playback positions
• Displaying your saved videos and watch later list
• Applying your preferences and settings
• Showing your viewing statistics

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This means:

• Your data never leaves your device

• Your data is automatically removed when you uninstall the extension

6. Permissions

StreamMaster requires certain browser permissions to function. Here's why we need each one:

• storage: To save your video positions and preferences locally
• activeTab: To detect videos on the current page when you click the save button
• scripting: To interact with video players (read position, restore position)
• tabs: To open saved videos in new tabs and get page titles
• notifications: To show confirmation when a video position is restored
• alarms: To enable automatic saving at regular intervals
• host permissions (all URLs): To work with video players on any website

7. Data Export and Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Export: You can export all your data as a JSON file from the extension settings
• Delete: You can delete individual saves or clear all data from the extension
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data

8. Children's Privacy

StreamMaster does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The extension does not collect any personal information from any users.
